Welcome to 2026 and a short review of 2025

“Another year over and a new one just begun”. Ja, John Lennons ord fungerar i många sammanhang och vi konstaterar samma sak här i SeaSportal. Mycket kan sägas om året 2025, men det var i alla fall rikt på träningstillfällen. I lagtävlingen Sports League registrerades 26 435 pass av 203 deltagare, i 67 lag. Kul att se!

I topp hamnade Lysekils Lotsplats, följt av förra årets vinnare, Gotland, som i sin tur jagades av Styrsöbolagets Fröja. På topp-10 hittar vi också rederier som Wallenius, Stena Line, Furetank och Älvtank. Starkt jobbat och grattis!

I Office League 2025 var det Furetank Kontor och Sjöbefälsföreningen som tog täten innan Sjöfartsverkets Fastighetsavdelning. Grattis även till er.

Så vad sker nu?

• Vi kommer att uppvakta vinnarna i Sports League med prispokaler vid ett lämpligt tillfälle.
• OM du tagit några Master-medaljer under året och vill beställa dessa på en plakett, behöver du göra din beställning här, senast den 31 januari. Du hittar dina medaljer under ”Märken” på ”Din sida”.
• Viktigast av allt är du nu behöver gå in och acceptera de tävlingar du vill delta i under året. Kom ihåg att det bara är aktivt arbetande sjöfolk som ska vara med i Sports League, och är du inte det kan du istället gå med i (eller skapa ett lag) i Office League. Du hittar tävlingarna under ”Din sida”.

Samla dina kollegor och ta med dem i både laget och till gymmet eller på löprundan. Vi på Sjömansservice är övertygade om att ju fler av er som investerar ett par timmar i veckan i sin hälsa, desto säkrare sjöfart får vi.

“Another year over and a new one just begun.” John Lennon’s words fit many situations, and they feel just right for us here at SeaSportal. A lot can be said about the year 2025, but one thing is certain: it was full of training activity. In the team competition Sports League, a total of 26 435 training sessions were registered by 203 participants across 67 teams. Great to see!

At the top of the leaderboard we find Lysekils Lotsplats, followed by last year’s winner Gotland, closely chased by Styrsöbolaget’s Fröja. The Top 10 also includes teams from Wallenius, Stena Line, Furetank, and Älvtank. Well done, and congratulations to all of you!

In Office League 2025, Furetank Kontor and Sjöbefälsföreningen led the way, ahead of Sjöfartsverket’s Fastighetsavdelning. Congratulations to you as well.

So what happens now?

• We will present the Sports League winners with trophies at a suitable occasion.
• IF you’ve earned any Master medals during the year and want to order them on a plaque, please place your order here no later than 31 January. You can find your medals under “Badges” on “Your Page”.
• Most importantly: make sure to log in and accept the competitions you want to take part in this year. Remember that only active seafarers should join the Sports League. If you are not currently working at sea, you can instead join (or create) a team in the Office League. You’ll find the competitions under “Your Page”.

Gather your colleagues and bring them into the team — and into the gym or out on a run. At Sjömansservice, we are convinced that the more of you who invest a few hours a week in your health, the safer our maritime industry becomes.
